Jacob a first year Master of Public Policy student at the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs and he currently holds the Alumni Chair on the Executive Board.   This summer, he went to Greece and Cyprus where his research project focused on conflict resolution and the Cyprus question. The contours of the problem, which is dependent upon a variety of international and institutional players make this topic relevant investment for his anticipated career in the Foreign Service.

As the Alumni Chair he will be working on a project focused specifically on notable alumni. With the help of the board and volunteers he will be researching notable and successful SPANners to learn the role SPAN played in advancing their lives and careers. This project is intended to promote the value of SPAN to potential SPANners by providing a reference point for students curious about how the SPAN experience can be an asset for their future.
