KENNETH NORQUIST SCHOLARSHIP

The Norquist scholarship is sponsored by Kenneth Norquist and his family. Mr. Norquist was a member of the

first SPAN group to Sweden in 1947. The amount awarded for this scholarship is 500.00.

ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Completion of signed financial resources disclosure
- Submission of a 1-2 page typed statement addressing the following:
        - What is the value of international education for you and for students in     general?
        - Why did you choose this SPAN program and your prospective country?
        - What is your background in international affairs?
        - How do you expect that this experience will affect your academic and        career goals?

Other Requirements:

Recipient must write thank-you letter to Kenneth Norquist.

Completed letters must be submitted to the SPAN office no later than April 23, 2010.
